Obituary

On Thursday February 3rd Adair Murphy passed away peacefully after a short illness at the age of 98. Adair was a loving and loyal Grandmother, Aunt, Wife and Mom. She was a wonderful, beautiful person with many friends and hobbies.
Adair was a huge San Francisco Giants fan, never missing a game. She enjoyed listening to Kruk and Kuip, loved Madbum, Timmy and Posey.
Adair was active in many organizations, including Bible Study Fellowship, traveling around California helping to open new chapters and train the local leaders, as well as a charter member of The Scarlett O'Hatters chapter of the Fresno Red Hat Society, and served as president of the Fresno County and City Republican Women's Federated Club.
Adair was also very involved in assisting the Laotian community as they immigrated to this country and helped them to get settled within the community.
In her later years Adair held weekly Bible study meetings in her home, helped start a women's book club, and was an avid quilter, donating them to various charities. She also had a love of needlepoint and sewing.
We will miss her patience and guidance, and most of all her wisdom, we will carry them with us always. Thank you Mom for all the lessons you taught us and the caring and love you gave to all.
There will be a Memorial for Adair on Saturday, April 2nd at Noon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fresno. All who knew and loved Adair are welcome.
