Anita Marie Soto Fitch (Anna)
1959 - 2024

On the morning of Sunday May 5th, 2024, at approximately 5:10 AM, Anita passed away at home in Fresno, CA with her Husband of 43 years by her side. Cause of death was complications from an infection that turned into Sepsis. Anita was Sixty-Four years old.

Anita was born in Fresno, CA on August 12, 1959. Anita was the eighth of nine children and third of four daughters of Benacio and Maria Soto.

Anita graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1977. After school Anita moved to Lahe Tahoe, CA to live with her oldest sister, Maria Jose. Jose was a Beautician at one of the local casinos. Anita thought this would be a good career, so she moved back to Fresno and attended Lyle's College of beauty.

In the spring of 1998 Anita met the Love of her life and future husband, Randy Fitch. They started dating. Just a few weeks after they started dating, Anita was telling relatives and friends, this was the man she was going to marry. And she was right.

On July 5th, 1980, Anita and Randy were married. It was a Grand Wedding with friends and family from both sides in attendance.

In 1986 Anita wanted to do something more rewarding than a hairdresser. So, after some research and her own affliction with Asthma, Anita decided to go back to school (College) and get a degree as a Respiratory Therapist.

Anita attended Fresno City College. In May of 1990 Anita received an Associate in Arts Degree. The following year, in May of 1991 she received an Associate in Science Degree.

After Graduating, Anita immediately started her new career working as a Respiratory Therapist for ST. AGNES MEDICAL HOSPITAL. Anita worked there for twenty years until 2011. The last five as a Coordinator.  In 2013 Anita went to work for Eagle Medical Training which is now renamed React Medical Training.  Anita was an Advance Life Support Instructor. Anita worked there until June of 2023.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents Benacio Soto and Maria Flores Soto. Her sisters, Maria Josefina Soto and Mary Jane Lambaren.

Anita is survived by her brothers and sisters, Ben Soto, David Soto, Irene Soto, Mike Soto, Daniel Soto and Terri Soto.

Memories are all we have left when a loved one passes away. We will all miss Anita so very much. Anita brought love, joy, happiness and laughter to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Anita loved her families so very much and we all loved her. Being able to bring Anita home from the hospital to live her last few days with friends and family by her side meant so much to her and me. I will never forget the joy it brought to her. Anita passed knowing that she was so very loved. Thank you everyone for your love and support. Randy
