Arlene G. (Reeve) Gregory
Arlene was born December 15, 1935 in San Jose, California to Robert and Zora Reeve. She was raised in a Christian home and accepted the Lord as her Savior in September 1944. The family moved around often during her younger years. The family settled down and Arlene attended and graduated from Madera High School in 1954. She attended Pacific Bible Institute in Fresno.
She married James V. Gregory in 1957 and soon after began a family. She has two sons: Robert L. Gregory and Richard D. Gregory.
She was a dedicated teacher of God's Holy Word through Sunday School classes, Bible studies and Missionary teaching and Preaching. She was an ordained minister through World Wide Ministries and volunteered with this ministry full time for almost 30 years. She LOVED music and played the organ and piano for churches, choirs, the Fresno Mayor's Prayer Breakfasts, and often…just to worship the Lord privately in her home.
Arlene entered "the City not built with human hands" on April 3, 2023. She was preceded in death by: Jim, her loving husband of 48 years; her parents, Robert B. and Zora L. Reeve; and her brother Glenn and his wife, Eileen.
She is remembered by her sons and their families: Robert & Cathy Gregory of Washington and Richard & Jillian Gregory of Fresno. She leaves behind 3 grandchildren: David (Dana) Gregory, Erinn (Zack) Robinson, and Mason Gregory. She has 1 great grandson, Malcolm Gregory and another great grandson, Baby Boy Robinson, expected in July.
Arlene was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, teacher and devoted friend. She will be greatly missed.
