Arturo Martinez Cortez
1944 - 2021

Arturo Cortez of Fresno, California passed away on December 19th, 2021 at the age of 77. He was born on March 11th, 1944 in Mission, Texas to Manuel and Dominga Cortez. In 1967, he married the love of his life Mary Helen Lara and together they raised three children.

Arturo was a proud veteran and enjoyed rooting for his favorite teams, especially the Raiders.

Arturo was a loving and devoted husband, caring father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Mary Helen Cortez, daughter Jacqueline Mancias, daughter Renee Amavizca, son Arthur Cortez, as well as 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
