Barbara June Kurtz Floyd Gahan passed away April 7th 2023, at 93 years of age surrounded by her family.

She was born in Hanford, California, May 9 1929 to John D. Kurtz and Pauline West Kurtz

The angels took the best of us, but she will never truly be gone because she has left her legacy in each of us, her mischievousness, sarcasm, wit and zest for life. More importantly we have in us her intense loyalty, love and protectiveness of family. The family she was born into but also the families she married into and the family and friends she collected throughout the years.

Barbara was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Ray W. Floyd (Oct 1976) and her second husband James J. Gahan (February 2004), and her son Scott A. Floyd (February 2014).

She is survived by her blended family Cynthia Floyd Mount (Tom), Teresa Floyd Evans (Tim), Wanda Gahan Vlach,

James J, Gahan II (Christine), John Gahan (Linda), Kevin Gahan(Diane), her grandchildren Garrett Evans (Rachal), Dena Mount Bez, Janeen Mount Bond (Matt), James Floyd (Kelly), Jeanelle Floyd, Nicole Floyd Diep (Jason), Coral Gahan De Alba (Dan), James J. Gahan III (Rachelle), John Vlach (Toni), Michael Gahan, Tyson Mendeas and many great grandchildren.
