BARBARA SARAFIAN

(February 13, 1933-February 1,2021)

On February 1, 2021, just one year after losing Jack, and her son-in-law Jim, Barbara went to join them.

Barbara was born in Fresno, CA to Oscar and Mary Kevorkian.  She was an only child.  Barbara graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1950.

She married Jack Sarafian in 1956.  Barbara was employed by Fresno Unified School District.

Barbara was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Armenian Church and the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the Home Guild at the California Armenian Home. Barbara had talent for both cooking and baking, and was happy to feed anyone and everyone who stopped by.

Barbara is survived by: her daughters Pam Cassidy and Jackie Sarafian, and her grandchildren Thomas McLean and his fiancée Megan Casey, and Stephanie Cassidy and her husband Erik Boster.
