It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Betty Francis Peck, 97, on May 13, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Tillman Peck, with whom she shared 75 years of marriage. 

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and treasured great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by daughters Janice Steinbeck (Richard), Carol Tomasello (Frank), grandchildren Joe Tomasello (Elle), Rick Tomasello (Christina), and great grandchildren Gino, Nico, Alex and Bella. 

Betty was born April 22, 1929 in Fresno, California to James Joseph Ascrizzi and Sophia Knatz Ascrizzi. Her parents; her brothers Jimmy and Albert; her twin sisters, Katherine Emerian and Frances Thompson, all preceded her in death. 

Betty graduated from Fresno Technical High School where her leadership and spirit were evident in all she did. She served as President of the Girls' League, was captain of both the Volleyball and Basketball teams, a member of the Y-Teen Girls Club and Playday Girls. 

Betty was a homemaker and a woman of many talents. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, knitting, gardening, music and antiquing. Her beloved pets brought immense joy and comfort throughout her life. 

The family would like to thank the California Armenian Home for their kindness and excellent care. 

Upon Betty's wishes, a private graveside service was held at Belmont Memorial Park.
