Robert ("Bob") Sears passed away at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale on August 26, 2021 after a brief illness, at the age of 79.  Bob was born in Osterville, Massachusetts on January 20, 1942 to Howard and Agnes (nee Derwin) Sears.  He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1968.  He then spent many years working in finance in Boston, Massachusetts before relocating to south Florida in 2004.

Bob was an avid golfer, like his mother, and in retirement found a second career doing what he loved as a starter and ranger at the Boca Raton Resort and Deer Creek Country Clubs.  Bob loved the Lord, and his church.  He especially enjoyed singing in the choir and looked forward to Sunday worship and Bible studies.  Bob enjoyed life, and always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell.

Bob was a beloved family man.  He is survived by his wife Gihon, his children Christopher and Kiran, and four grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am at the Cross Community Church in Deerfield Beach, Florida on September 2, 2021.
