Carol Jeanette Marks
1938  - 2024

Carol Jeanette Marks passed away peacefully with her daughter and doggie by her side on April 2, 2024. She was born in Fresno, California on July 16, 1938 to Harry and Kathryn Lung.  She grew up on the westside of Fresno in "Roosian Town" as her parents were both Germans from Russia.  She was married at the age of 18 to Stanley Vernon Marks.  They started and raised their family in a home she lived in for the rest of her life.

They welcomed twins, Randall and Vickielynn and their son Robert.  Carol raised her family and worked as a winery employee.  During her time at the winery, she met dear friends that she would have her entire life.  She became an at-home caregiver to Stanley as he battled Multiple Sclerosis.  She was a happy grandmother to her two grandsons.  She enjoyed crochet and other crafts, reading mystery novels and traveling.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sons.  She is survived by her devoted daughter, Vickie, two grandsons, Kevin Mauldin and Jeff Mauldin, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Nilene Lung, nieces and nephews.
