Carol Lynne Walls, 85, passed away on April 8, 2026 in Fresno, California, after a long struggle with dementia. Born in 1940 to Bill and Mary Walls, Carol was a lifelong Fresno resident. Early in life, she married Andy Sandoval and together they had four children. Carol later remarried and became Carol De La Torre.

Always a hard worker, Carol was briefly employed with the Fresno County Elections Office before beginning her career at the Law Office of Hanna Brophy, Fresno. There, she worked her way up to Billings Clerk and stayed with the firm for nearly 30 years.

Carol received so much joy volunteering her time at Valley Children's Hospital and with St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She also loved her cat, Kitty-Cats, and taking care of plants. Carol had a green thumb and a notorious sweet tooth, and would never turn down a piece of See’s candy or a big slice of champaign cake from Eddie’s Bakery.

Carol was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother Bill Jr., both spouses, and is survived by her four children, Andrew, Lisa, Stephen and Paul, and three grandchildren Shelby, Drew, and Sean.
