Charles Orvil Boles

Charles 0. Boles / Chuck /Papa In the early morning of Tuesday, December 12, 2023 Charles passed away at his home in Fresno CA, surrounded by family, at the age of 91.

Charles was born in Akron Ohio to Arvy and Florence Boles on July 23rd 1932. He was the oldest of two children and his sister Elaine Lois Bidinger still resides in Ohio.

Charles was headed to Alaska when fate brought him to Fresno California where he met Marlene Ann Mortensen. Charles and Marlene (Papa and GG) enjoyed square dancing, camping with friends and driving his restored cars with his car club "roaring 20s".

Charles and Marlene were married 63 years before she passed away in 2016. Charles is survived by his sister Elaine, daughter Charlene, granddaughter Shauna and her husband Mathew, great grand children Shaun, Johnathan, Taylor, Kenneth and Julia.
