Constance Patricia Kocak, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and veteran, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on November 1, 1947, Constance lived a life filled with love, resilience, and a deep passion for her family and her furry companions.

A proud veteran, Constance's service to her country shaped her strong character and unwavering spirit. She had a profound love for her dogs, Agape and Snowball, who brought her immense joy and comfort throughout her life.

Constance is preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Julie Hobrath, and survived by her beloved grandchildren, Heather, Mark, and Aimee. her devoted husband, John Ivan Kocak; her children: Holly O. Fetter and her husband Matt, with grandchildren Alison and Peter II; Charles Chenevert and his wife Lisa, along with granddaughter Reanna Chenevert and her great-grandchildren Oakley and Stella; and Philip A. Burkart Jr. and his wife Gloria, who blessed her with grandsons Philip Michael and Zachary; and Stacey Dublin, and her two children, Austin and Joshua Furtle, as well as her brothers and sisters.


While Constance may not have been a perfect woman, she sought solace and redemption in her later years, finding faith in God and hoping to reconcile with all her children. Her journey of love and forgiveness is a testament to her strength and determination.


Constance will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and her deep compassion for all living beings. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and the hope that her family will cherish the memories they created together.


A celebration of her life will be held at Yost & Webb at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together to honor the beautiful soul of Constance Patricia Kocak. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local animal shelter in her memory, reflecting her love for animals and her compassionate heart.
