On Saturday March 20, 2021, Damacio Leyva Jr., 58, loving father, brother, son and Tio went home to be with the Lord. He was raised in Oxnard, CA until he joined the United States Army at the age of 17. He is survived by his children Damacio Leyva III, Gabino Leyva, Enrique Leyva, Valerie Leyva and Salvador Leyva. He is also survived by his father, Damacio Leyva Sr., siblings Bertha, Ramon, Maria, Martha, Manuel, Jorge, Laura, nieces and nephews. Damacio is preceded in death by his Mom, Martha Leyva.

He was a carpenter by trade and loved collecting antiques, especially anything "Nolan Ryan" related, listening to music and spending time with his family. He had such a strong presence about him when entering a room and an hilarious sense of humor. Above all else, his greatest passion was his children! They were is his greatest joy; he adored his children. "Jr." will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 1, 2021 from 1 PM – 3 PM at Boyko and Reardon Telegraph Road Mortuary located at 15 Teloma Drive Ventura, CA 93003
