David Wilson Dobbs, Jr.
1929 - 2022

David Wilson Dobbs passed away July 17, 2022, in Fresno, Ca. at the age of 92. He is survived by his wife Dorothy and 3 children from a former wife. Their names are Vicky Anderson, Carol Pye, and Randall Dobbs.

David was born in Idaho in 1929 and brought to California in the great depression era. He graduated early from High School and spent 1 year at Pasadena College before joining the U.S. Airforce. At the time he was stationed in Lubbock, Texas where he met his first wife, Wama and together they had 6 children. 3 of his children are deceased. He leaves behind 3 children who are Randall Dobbs, Vicky Anderson and Carol Pye, and several grandchildren along with 1 sister, Margaret Jean and his wife Dorothy. They have been married 11 years.

David was very adventurous in that he built 3 sailboats and he sailed them all. After a severe heart attack, he could not sail anymore so the doctor suggested biking would be good for his heart, so he began biking all over the U.S. He biked in Europe as well. He biked until his late 80's.

He finally finished his college education at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada and got his degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting at the age of 66.

He enjoyed life to the fullest, we will miss him.
