David Charles Drewry
1955 - 2022

On the morning of November 23rd, 2022, Dave passed away peacefully while surrounded by his immediate family at Adventist Health Hospital in Selma, Ca after long term health problems. Dave was 67 years' old.

David Drewry was born in Winnemucca, Nevada on January 3rd, 1955. He was the second child and only son of parents Doris Evelyn and Harry Lee Drewry.

At an early age Dave was interested in all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and learning to shoot guns while hunting with his father and grandfather, As Dave grew up, he developed a love of dirt bike motorcycles and after learning to drive he loved classic cars and Conversion vans.

Dave was a member of van clubs and enjoyed going on van runs and customizing his own vans, Dave loved domestic animals especially dogs he had many throughout his life and always loved spending time with them. He also enjoyed watching horror movies and war documentaries.

Dave was a hobbyist who spent a lot of time putting RC plane models together and enjoyed making airbrush art. also in his later years Dave loved classic cars and had a custom 1955 Chevy Bel Aire and a Honda Shadow motorcycle.

Dave is survived by his niece Leah Drewry and nephew Lee Drewry and many Great nieces and nephews and Great -Great nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. Dave never had any children of his own but did wish he had children in life, He is also survived by his longtime pet dog Ginger who he loved with all his heart. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

As requested, Dave will be cremated and his ashes will be returned to the wilderness areas that he loved to spend time at, so that he shall spend all eternity among the great outdoors that he loved so much in life.

The Visitation and funeral services for Dave will be Monday Dec 5, 2022, from 1-3pm at Yost and Webb Funeral Home in Fresno Ca.
