Dickran (Dick) M Boyajian passed away at home under the care of his wife, Vicki, on November 6, 2024. He was 91.

Born in Lynn, Massachusetts June 1, 1933 to the late Grace and Manoog Boyajian; the family later moved to Fresno, California where Dick lived for most of his life Dick was the middle son of three brothers, Tom, Dick, and Harry.

Dick attended Fresno High School and Fresno State where he earned a BA and master's degree in Education. His career was spent teaching and counseling in Clovis Unified School District.

Dick was an Army veteran who was stationed in Germany. His time in the service was largely spent teaching fellow servicemen.

Dick lived a full and active life. He was a member of the Selma Chapter of the Armenian Triple X Fraternity. He enjoyed traveling and fast cars. He loved to ride his bike and to meet friends for coffee. He spent many happy days playing golf or skiing with his brother, Tom.

Dick was known for his tremendous sense of humor and clever pranks.

Dick's first marriage was to Jackie Garo Boyajian. While the marriage didn't last, they remained close friends. He married his wife Vicki at age 90 after many loving years together.

In his later years, Dick was especially close to his older brother, Harry, since deceased. We'd like to imagine the brothers sharing a glass of red wine, telling old stories, and toasting to a life well led.

Graveside services will be held at Masis Ararat Armenian Cemetery Annex on Friday November 15, at 11 a.m. Luncheon to follow at A.J.'s restaurant.
