D elores Priscilla 'Tootsie' Gallegos', age 71, gained her wings on October 29th 2025. Born July 5th 1954, in Rocky Ford, Colorado. She was the beloved daughter of Jacobo Gallegos  and Angelina Gallegos.

Tootsie attended Kelso School in Fresno, CA, she worked for the ARC Foundation as an assembly worker for many years.

Tootsie was definitely a girly girl, she loved to be in dresses, play with dolls! She called many family members by the name of cupcake! She loved to watch the movie Wizard of Oz over and over it was one of her favorites.

Tootsie loved going to school each morning and always greeted her classmates with a big Hi! She was spoiled by everyone in our family, even though she was special needs in our big family she was treated equally and loved in so many ways, such as always a haircut from our older sister Dorothy, she knew she was always in store for some playful teasing from her older brothers and jokes to make her laugh. Tootsie was big on receiving gifts such as clothes, new pairs of shoes, or even a new hat (which she loved), simple things brought such a big smile to her face.

Tootsie is preceded in death by brothers Leonardo Gallegos, Jake Gallegos, Ronald Gallegos and Vincent Gallegos and sister Dorothy Chaparro, Tootsie is survived by brothers Raymond Gallegos, Richard Gallegos and sisters Loretta Marquez, Vanessa Valtierra and Fran Gallegos.

We will miss her beautiful smile, and the reminder to live with the same selfless love, and unending joy that she carried every day.
