Donald Lorenzo
Moore
January 15, 1966 – June 5, 2022
Donald Lorenzo Moore was born to Jessica b. Moore and Willie J Moore Sr. on January 15th, 1966, in Chicago, Il. Due to weather and sickle cell Jessica moved Donald, along with sister Liz and brother Will to Oakland in 1974. Then in 1976 they moved to Fresno, Ca to join family that previously made the move from Chicago to Fresno. Donald was the cutest baby we call him "Donald duck" we all were very protective over him. He briefly attended Edison high school, where he developed a love for sports which his favorite teams were the Cowboys and the Lakers. He loved tennis, chess, domino's, baseball, and karate movies. His first love was music, he played extremely loud for the entire neighborhood to hear. He taught himself to play keyboard, occasionally played for family and at the sickle cell ball. As he got older and became a man, he was given the name "Don Juan" and was the biggest flirt and jokester, which resulted in a whole lot of girlfriends. Despite life's challenges, he had a big heart, which led him to father 4 children. Donald was very proud of all his kids and grandkids and loved them very much. For personal reasons, he kept his distance but would often show up or get picked up for holidays and special family gatherings.
