Douglas Andrew Yavanian, 81, of Fresno, California, passed away on February 7, 2025. Born on April 27, 1943, in Fresno, Douglas graduated from McLane High School, Fresno City College, and Fresno State. A proud Fresno State alumnus, he was an avid Bulldogs football fan, never missing a home game or a good tailgate.

Douglas built a career in public relations, working across various Chambers of Commerce in Southern California. After retiring, he returned to Fresno, where he spent his later years.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Douglas is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kellee and Eric Ramer; his grandchildren, Gunner Walter and Lola Blanche; and his cherished friend, Sona Galajyan.

A service will be held at Mount Ararat Cemetery on March 10am at 10:30 a.m.
