Gabriel Martinez Castañon who was also known as Rata, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020 with his family by his side praying, sharing loving memories, expressing gratitude and saying goodbye.

Born March 24th 1944  at Diener's Ranch in Five Points California he began working at age 11 and continued for 58 years as a Agriculture laborer and foreman as well as a tire technician for Goodyear.

He loved family gatherings where he could be found playing baseball, throwing horseshoes, playing cards or watching the Raiders play football and the Giants in baseball.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Pete and Eleanor Castañon and Brother, Michael.

He is survived by 2 brothers; Pete II and Simon, and 3 sisters; Frances, Queenie and Terry.
His Daughters Lorraine, Darlene , Flora and Gabby and her husband Miguel and his Sons Gabe Jr and his wife Anna and Chris. Also the Mother's of his children Gloria and Josefa as well as 14 grandchildren
Sammy, Tino, Preston, Christopher Jr, Crista, Monique, Angel, Ruby, Crystal, Gabriel Jr, Isaiah, Cruz, Isabella and Ariana and 5 great grandchildren Matthew , John VI , Mariana,  Preston Jr and Damian.
