Gail was born on January 5, 1954 in Fresno, California to her parents Harold A. and Dorothea Trafican. She was the youngest of four daughters as they kept trying to have a boy. She was the spoiled one even though she kept saying she was adopted as there wasn't as many pictures as the rest of sisters.

Throughout Gail's life she had many hobbies, horse back riding, raising chickens, gardening, pottery, cooking, Polynesian dancing, sewing and painting as she raised her son Jason. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson Ashton.

Gail fought very hard for 17years with her caring Dr. Hackett with her numerous diagnoses of cancer. Her attitude was let's get this treatment over with so I can play with my grandson.

She leaves behind her devoted son Jason Schiavon and his wife Alexandra, grandson Ashton, Sisters, Mary Ellen Howard, Dana Herzog and Karen Trafican, as well as her nephew Hal Woodall and wife Cassie who were there every day helping to care for her in her last weeks of her life. She also leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces and stepdaughter Isha Kirby and her children.

We all deeply miss her, but we know she is in the arms of our Lord.
