Harold Harautuneian passed away October 3, 2024 in Fresno, CA at the age of 92. Harold Was born May 30, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Araxia and Nishan Harautuneian. Harold Graduated From Dinuba High School in 1950 and completed his education at Fresno State. He began his career with Fresno Unified School District in September 1959 as a social studies teacher at Sequoia Jr. High before becoming a high school counselor. Harold spent the rest of his career at Fresno High School eventually taking the position of Head Counselor. He retired in 1991 after 32 dedicated years in education.

Our dad enjoyed a long, full and wonderful retirement. He loved travel and was able to visit places all over the world. He enjoyed fishing trips, and was an avid golfer. His favorite pastime was skiing, and he continued to ski at the age of 88 years. Our dad was a wonderful husband and father to five children. He welcomed six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and was looking forward to welcoming number seven. Dad loved being apart of their lives.

Our dad was married to our mom Shirley for 57 years until her passing in 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents Araxie and Nishan, sister Rose Tamouzian and his brother Andrew Harautuneian.

He leaves behind his loving partner Jenna Revnolds. He is survived by his five children David, Cheryl(George), Denise(Jeff), Tom(Lillian) and Susan(Kelly). His grandchildren Nicholas, Jordan, Jennifer, Alexandra, Allison and Brandon and his great grandchildren.
