Harold Rice left us at the age of 84,

to join his beloved wife Silvana in Heaven.

Born in Anthony, Kansas, Harold was the son of Noel and Teresa Rice. He moved with his parents and two siblings, Juanita and Donnie, to Fresno, California in 1947. After graduating high school he worked at a neighborhood gas station and would eventually own service stations for most of his working life. His love of cars occupied his free-time by building and racing micro-midgets, but going fishing and watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football were his favorite ways to relax.

Harold was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he proudly served in the 173rd Airborne Brigade. While in the service he married the love of his life, Silvana, with whom he shared nearly 60 years of matrimony. Together they raised two daughters, Susan and Denice, and were blessed with five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The biggest joy in Harold's life was being with family, whether it was at the racetrack or watching a football game, a backyard BBQ or a trip to Chicago, he cherished every moment of togetherness. He was kind to everyone, would help anyone, and was happy to let others have their way to keep peace.

Harold is survived by his loving daughters Susan Bringetto & her husband Mario, and Denice Rice-Kelly & her husband Jim. Cherished Popo of Jarrett (Shannon) and Anthony (Paige) Bringetto, and Jackson, Keelin and Michael Kelly. Great-Popo of Bella, Gigi and Marco Bringetto and Mason Bringetto. Dear Brother of Juanita and her late husband Donnie Ohanesian and the late Donnie Rice and his children Terri, David and Donna.
