Harold Charles Sivas was born August 13, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the age of five, his family moved to the small country town of Sanger, California.  The move to California suited Harold as he was not a fan of cold weather or snow growing up.

He was an excellent student - attending UC Berkeley, and becoming an optometrist in 1977, serving the Fresno, Clovis, Visalia, and Madera communities throughout his career.  He was a man of many talents, like teaching himself how to build and remodel homes (including Barbie houses for his daughters). His interests included fishing, classic cars, riding his bike, watching classic sitcoms, tennis, golf, trips to the coast, and good food, particularly desserts.

He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on December 9, 2023 after a courageous over decade long battle with a debilitating illness. He is survived by his wife Ida and his two daughters Kristina and Karolina. As well as his grandson Charlie, the Siberian Husky.  He's preceded in death by his dad Edward and mom Grace Sivas.  He is now in heaven with his parents, his in-laws, and his lord and savior Jesus Christ.
