Helen Matilda Boone
1927 - 2022

On the afternoon of February 8, 2022, Helen Dexheimer Boone passed peacefully away.  She was with family members when she passed where she resided with her daughter.  She was 94 years old.

Helen was born October 24, 1927 in New Jersey.  She was the youngest of five children (all who preceded her in death) to Victor and Marie Dexheimer.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jay Boone, her daughter, Lucinda Boone, her grandsons, Philip Vandergraff and Lee Prosser and her niece, Donna Leppincott.

Helen was a registered nurse, a wonderful wife, mother and friend and, a 4-H leader.

She is survived by her five daughters; Roberta Johnson, Linda Wrisley, Deborah Skains, Wendy Russel and Dale Ashlock, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson, her nephews, Richard, Kenny and Kevin Dexheimer and her nieces, Diane Snyder, Jody Weaver and Bonnie Sautner.

She will be missed by her family, Don Fiddler and many friends her long life has touched.
