Hermine Janet Tozlian joined the
love of her life Jack Tozlian
on April 17, 2024 at nearly
88 years old. She was born
on May 8, 1936 in Beirut,
Lebanon to Hagop and Rose
Buchak. Her family traveled
from Lebanon to France to
settle in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she spent the
majority of her childhood.
Later her family immigrated
to the United States and settled in Glendale, California.
This is where she met the
love of her life, Jack Tozlian
and they were married soon
after. Their marriage lasted
over 50 years and produced
two children, Sherry Tozlian
Wood and Je rey Tozlian. She enjoyed a comfortable life with her family in Fresno, California until the tragic death of their daughter Sherry at the age of 37 from cancer. Her joy for life was reignited with the birth of her only grandchild, Jack Joseph Tozlian on November 19, 2011. She was very close to "Little Jack" and with "Big Jack" they enjoyed many adventures. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Hagop and Rose Buchak, her husband, Jack Tozlian, daughter, Sherry Tozlian Wood. She is survived by her loving son, Je rey Tozlian (Margaret), grandson Jack Joseph Tozlian, her brothers Eddie Buchak (Mayda), Ruben Buchak (Rebecca) and many nieces and nephews. A service in her honor will be given at St. Paul Armenian Church at 3767 N. First St. in Fresno, CA at 10am on April 29, 2024 followed by a private internment. In lieu of fl owers please make donations to the American Cancer Society in Hermine's name. Arrangements are being handled by Yost and Webb.
