"Wes"

James Wesley Pegram

1958-2021

James Wesley Pegram, known to us all as "Wes", passed away on April 20th, 2021 in Fresno, California.

Wes was 62 years old and was born on June 22, 1958 to John D. Pegram and Wanda L. Walker Pegram. He was born in Pecos, TX, the third of five children. He grew up in Indiana and Illinois before moving to California in 1969 with his family.

Despite his brain injury at age 15, he loved working for his dad at his McDonald's restaurants in California, New York, Alaska and Washington, keeping everything in perfect order inside and out. Wes brought his work ethic and Mr-Clean reputation wherever he went, volunteering to wash windows whether at a relatives house or volunteering to clean the bathrooms and windows at Masten Towers where he was a model resident for nearly 30 years. He also loved going to baseball games like his dad, riding his bicycle to explore, and doing 1000 piece puzzles with his friends and family.

Wesley enjoyed visiting his family and was always so loving, warm and outgoing. His great sense of humor, laugh and dimpled smile brought so much joy to all of us.

Wes is survived by his sister, Carolyn Pegram Regan of Davis, and his brothers John Pegram of Santa Rosa, Kyle Pegram of Fresno, and Bob Pegram of Sacramento.

Wes was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Pegram and his father John Pegram.

Wesley's ashes will be placed next to his mother's grave at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, CA. There will be a small memorial for immediate family at a future date.

We are comforted to know that Wesley is now in Heaven with his parents, grandparents, and other loved ones who passed before him.

Wesley will always be loved so much, and we will miss him always.
