Obituary

God opened his gates to bring James Joseph Polzin home on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the age of 78 years old. He was sent off peacefully by his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Bernadette Polzin; and his two children: Dawn (John) Williams and James (Tracy) Polzin. He will also be greatly missed by his 9 grandchildren: Ryan, Shelbe, Daniel, Matthew, Derek, Jake, Samantha, Jonathan, and Brendie; and his 11 great grandchildren: Leila, Deegan, Savannah, Kylie, Hadlee, Haisley, Andrew, Emilee, Brodie, Bentlee, and Noah; and his nieces and 2 nephews: Faye, Heather, Leah, Jimmy, and Brad; and his sister Vivian. He was predeceased by his mother, father, step-mother, step-father, sister, and brother.

James was born on September 29, 1943 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in New London, Wisconsin. He served in the Air Force for 21 years, from 1963-1984. Him, his wife, and their two children resided in Victorville, California in 1975. He opened his own business, Cotton's TV, where he fixed TV's and Microwaves. He was very passionate about his business. He was always hard at work and on the go. He was also very passionate about his family. His grandchildren knew him as "Papa, Pops, and Pop pop". He was always the first to jump and help them. Everyone knew he was a stubborn man and "always right" and "never wrong", and his "tormenting" will be greatly missed. He was also known as the "kitchen police" because any time someone was in the kitchen he would have to make sure everything was done "Jim's way". His family will remember him by all of the memories that he left behind. He will forever be loved and forever be missed by them all.
