Beloved mother, daughter, sister, angel and friend Janet Esquviel passed away on Sept 9 2021
Janet is survived by her son Jason and her nephews, nieces and cousins
Janet was born and raised in Fresno california. Was born on Jan 5 th 1962. Growing up janet was involved In dancing and music, she started to mexican dance at the age of 5, from then on she participated in numerous dance contests here in fresno during middle school and high school at the rainbow ballroom where she won 1 st place most of the time. She was the most popular person in her class and in fresno. All of her peers wanted to be like her. She grew up with her two brothers, Ronnie and Tony and her sister Margie, Her parents were Nellie and Leo Jimenez. She would spend time and dance with her brother ronnie and his marimba band in her late teens and after high school and would perform and dance at different venues around fresno. In 1980 she was in the magazine "Q-VO" for her dancing and fashion. Her love for dancing and fashion keeps her in touch with today's styles at the time.
In the 1980's she would become involved in fashion and would have fashion shows throughout fresno county and would have some of them at the fresno fair were numerous people and her friends would be apart of them, she would be the go to person to put on an event and a show. She worked at fashion fair at numerous stores including macy's and barbizon modeling store. From 1990 and on she started working for fresno county, dept of social services and moved on to working for Child Protective services, from there she worked and helped with children there who were abused by the parents and did everything she could to save them and to put them in a safe place. She did her job well with the children and all of the children who she talked to and helped loved her and thought of her as mother figure, she wanted to help people and the children and wanted them to be in a better situation. She had saved a lot of lives by working there. In the late 2000's janet had retired from the Fresno County and all of her life saving work came to an end. She had made an impact on everyone who had worked with her at fresno county and was deeply missed when she retired.
Everyone who knew Janet knew that she enjoyed life and every second of it, with her friends and family and co-workers, she would put a smile on everyone's face and would make the most out of everything, despite her health issues she always she always did what she could to make the best out of everything and wouldn't want anyone to worry. She always wanted to help her friends and family, co-workers and strangers. She was loved by everyone and everyone loved her.
Everyone who remembers her is asked to celebrate her and to carry on and to live and life and enjoy it like she did or in there on way. She will be loved and missed by many as she made an impact on everyones lives. Everyone was blessed to have known Janet esquivel for her love, kindness, caring and heart that she gave to everyone, there will no one like her. She was unique in everyway and one of a kind and will be missed.
