Obituary

Jennie was born to Blas and Maria De Jesus Galvan on April 27, 1929 in Cashion Arizona and was the eldest of 11 living children. As a migrant working family, they traveled throughout the states, following the work. She met the love of her life Fred Fraijo in Selma Ca in 1945 and they married on March 31, 1946. They lived in Pasadena for some time and together they settled in the Central San Joaquin Valley raising their nine children to value the love of family and a strong work ethic. Fred preceded Jennie in death in January of 2010 at the age of 88. She joined him and their infant son (Gabriel) in heaven on February 14, 2021 at the age of 91.

Jennie enjoyed the glamour of fashion, with her elegant clothes and flawless hair and make-up. She and Fred enjoyed dancing, socializing and fostering a love of music in their children. She enjoyed listening to her beloved husband Fred serenade her with his guitar and beautiful voice. She enjoyed the company of all of her children and grandchildren and gathering with her extended family. She embodied a strong matriarchal presence as the driving force of the Fraijo family while creating a legacy of strength and perseverance. Jennie was an amazing, selfless and loving person and helped raise many generations of the Fraijo family.

Jennie's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her nine living children and their spouses: Olivia Fraijo, Fred and Mary Fraijo, Pearl Fraijo, Daniel and Rachel Fraijo, Bernard and Norma Fraijo Diana and Greg Johnson, Gabriel A Fraijo, Crystal and Kenny Esparza and Jeremie and Anitra Fraijo; siblings(Jane Burrola , Phyllis Aleman, Teresa Reynoso and brother in law Peter, Louis Galvan and sister in law Sally, Rosemary Miller, Jess Galvan, sister in-laws, Linda Galvan and Margie Galvan); 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 17 great-great children ; and an abundance of devoted nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank the Fraijo and Galvan extended family members for their love and support; and Valley Regional Home Health and Hospice for their care and support.
