Jerry D. Hamilton

Jerry was born on June 22, 1934, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Everett and Gladys Hamilton.  He passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 89, surrounded by family on Friday, January 26, 2024, in Fresno, California.

Jerry devoted his life in service to his family and his faith.  He was an avid sports player and spectator throughout his life, especially when it came to his alma mater, the University of Oregon, in basketball and football.  Jerry was most passionate with friends and family when he was either discussing the scriptures of his faith or when he was watching sports, especially at the collegiate level.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Katharine Hamilton, and his two children, Jeffrey Hamilton and Barbara Jo Grover, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

A memorial service is to be scheduled through Jerry's home church, New Covenant Community Church in Fresno.
