John Joe Escobar

September 18, 1951 – March 25, 2024

John Joe Escobar passed away on 03/25/24 at the age of 72. He passed in his sleep, at home, in Fresno CA. John was born in Brownsville Texas to Felicitas Escobar and Juan Escobar. John moved to California as a young adult. He later obtained a degree from Fresno City Community College and then worked for over 20 years as an eligibility worker for the County of Fresno.

John is preceded in death by his Mother Felicitas Escobar, Father Juan Escobar, and younger brother Andre Escobar.

John is survived by his 2 sons, Alexis Escobar (oldest), Samuel Escobar (youngest), his daughter Jennifer, and sisters Yvonne, Theresa, Giselle, Loretta, and Annette.

John lived a very full life with enough adventure, wisdom, joy, and pain for several lifetimes. John was very loved. He was the 2nd oldest of 5 sisters, 1 younger brother, and countless nieces and nephews. He will be remembered fondly for his wisdom, storytelling, generosity, unwavering love for his family, and his faith in Christ. His legacy will live on through the countless lives that he's touched, and those that he shared the Word of God with. As well as the memories created by all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace, in heaven, with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. John, (Dad, Uncle, Brother) you will be dearly missed, we Love you!
