John Dennis Hagopian, known to his family and friends as Dennis, passed away in his home on December 15, 2021, at the age of 79. He was born on April 10, 1942, in Fresno, CA to John and Rose Hagopian. He attended Fresno State College (as it was known at the time), where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in 1965, and then transferred to UC Berkeley where he earned a Master of Science in engineering in 1967 and a Ph.D. in 1970. He worked in northern California for a few years but returned to Fresno to run his own accident reconstruction business, frequently testifying in court as an expert witness. He was very suited to this work because of his great analytical mind.

In his spare time, he loved playing the organ, working on his computer, and tinkering with his other electronic devices.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by numerous cousins.

Arrangements are being handled by Yost and Webb Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 18 at 10:00 AM at Belmont Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
