John M. Peters, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and pillar of the Fresno community, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, at the age of 84 after a long battle with Alzheimer's/Dementia in Fresno California. Born on Feb 26th, 1941, in Los Angeles, to Margaret Green and Michael Peters, John lived a vibrant life defined by his unwavering commitment to his family.

John leaves behind his devoted wife of 62 years, Susan, their two children, Kevin, and John Christopher, and two grandchildren, Ryan and Charlie Peters. His infectious laughter and stories brought warmth to every family gathering, and his gentle guidance shaped the lives of those he loved.

John owned an electrical firm for over 30 years, where he ran many projects in local theaters, stadiums, schools, medical facilities and hospitals.

John found joy in life's simple pleasures—strolls along Aptos Beach, tending to his backyard Koi Pond, and cheering for the 49ers with his sons, and spending time with his grandchildren Ryan and Chalie. His quick wit and kind heart made him a friend to many, and his door was always open to neighbors and friends in need.

John M. Peters' legacy of work, service, and love will resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed.
