In Loving Memory of

 Jose Maydon

September 1, 1928 – September 7, 2026

Jose Maydon, born September 1, 1928, in Tamaulipas, Mexico, lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, family, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

On February 14, 1952, Jose married his late wife, Ramona Maydon. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Together they shared 11 children, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild—a legacy that will continue to live on through every generation.

Jose was a hardworking farm laborer who dedicated his life to providing for his family. He never hesitated to do whatever was necessary to make sure his loved ones were cared for. His greatest pride, however, was not in the work he did, but in the family he built.

Family meant everything! He was always there for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His home was a place where family could gather, feel loved, and make memories. We will remember the days spent at his home, with the grandchildren gathered around watching tv and enjoying a glass of punch. Those simple moments became some of the most treasured memories.

Jose enjoyed the little things in life. He loved visiting Table Mountain Casino, scratching lottery tickets, and spending time with the people he loved. Some of the most special memories were made sitting together on his front porch, listening to him tell his stories. Those are moments that will never be forgotten.

Jose lived a long, beautiful life surrounded by the love of his family. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, strength, love, and devotion. Though his absence will leave an emptiness in the hearts of all who knew him, the memories he created and the love he gave will live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always carried in our hearts.

And while we say goodbye with heavy hearts, we find comfort knowing that Jose is now at peace and has been set free to be reunited with his beloved wife, Ramona.
