Joseph (Joe) was born July 4th, 1948 in Fresno, California to Helen and Joseph Donabed Sr. Joseph passed on July 8, 2021 in Los Angeles, California due to heart complications. Joseph served in the U.S. Navy and worked in city government for 45-years. In retirement, Joseph developed a passion for collecting knives and Starbucks coffee. He was a proud member of the Sequoia Chapter of the Triple X Fraternity and loved his Armenian heritage. Joseph was a cherished father, brother, and husband who will be forever loved and remembered.

Joseph is survived by his four children: Koharig (Karrie) Donabed (Nathan Allen), Rebecca Donabed (Frank Bejarano), Karol (Donabed) Anderson (Erik), and Joseph Elias Donabed III (Monika Donabed). He is also survived by his brother James Donabed, sister Peggy Ann Donabed-Thomas, and his spouse Lidia. He is the beloved grandfather to Nathan, Brissa, Calvin, Olivia, and Oliver and great grandfather to Hendrix.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15th, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at Yost & Webb Funeral Home. A private Interment will follow at Ararat Armenian Cemetery in Fresno, California at a later time.
