Kenneth Wayne Burrow, age 75 of Clovis, California passed away in Fresno, Ca on September 1, 2022. Kenneth was born in Bald Knob, Arkansas to Lorine and Woodrow Burrow. He attended Riverdale High School in Riverdale, California, and served in the United States Army for 2 years 1967-1969, including a tour of duty in Vietnam.
Kenneth was married for 52 years to Mary Jeanette Brown, and together they raised 4 children, Shelly (Michelle), Kenneth, Kathryn, and Jimmie. Ken and Jeanette lived one mile apart in Arkansas, both families moved to California around 1953, and ended up living about a mile apart in Laton, California. Many of the Burrow and Brown children played together as their fathers worked the land. When Jeanette walked into Ken's welcome home from Vietnam party he was smitten. Ken worked as a woodworker and inspector at Lemoore Naval Air Station for a combined 33 years in Civil Service. Ken and Jeanette loved to travel taking many trips with his now deceased mother-in-law Flossie Brown and sparks would fly as Ken and Flossie seemed to enjoy bantering back and forth. Ken and Jeanette also enjoyed traveling to Missouri to see his brother Phil, and they travelled cross country in an RV to the Grand Old Opry with his best friend and brother-in-law Jimmie Brown and his wife Louise. Ken and Jimmie both served in Vietnam which created a strong bond between the two. While walking around Nashville wearing their veteran hats they were thanked profusely for their service every where they went, and were invited in for a chat by many business owners. Jeanette and Louise finally told them they needed to remove their hats or they weren't going to get to see much of Nashville!
