We are sad to announce the passing of Laurence G. Casaletto, III of Fresno. He died at the age of 69 on March 5th following a short battle with cancer. As per Larry's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Interment will be at Clovis District Cemetery; attending will be only immediate family members.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Janice, and son, Matthew. He is survived by his other three children: Stephanie Josey, Veronica Casaletto, and Laurence G. Casaletto, IV. Larry is survived also by his sister, Ann (Casaletto) Maisano, 4 grandchildren, and his longtime companion, Kathleen Trujillo.

Larry also leaves many beloved friends behind who are sure to miss his humor, which was often colorful, and his smiling face, his helping hand, and his sage advice.

He was born in San Jose and was a student at Los Gatos High School. He participated in class reunions to meet with old classmates and relive the misadventures of youth.

His occupation as mechanic and driver of semi-trucks led to many experiences and challenges of which he spoke often. His stories were endless as was his telling and re-telling of them. But he was also a caring man, going out of his way, and out of pocket, to help others in any way he could.
