Lindsay Ashburn, 42, passed away at her house in Squaw Valley, CA on February 1st, 2022 after a courageous battle with signet ring cell carcinoma of the colon.

Lindsay was born April 28th, 1979 to Joe and Susie Dahlgren in Santa Barbara, CA.  She attended Crane School for elementary and junior highschool graduating in 1993.  After graduating from Carpinteria High in 1997 she went to Reedley Community College. While at Reedley Community College she met Stephen Ashburn whom she wed on June 1, 2002.  They had one daughter, Alaina, in 2004.

Lindsay is survived by her husband, Stephen Ashburn; her daughter, Alaina Ashburn; and her parents, Joe and Susie Dahlgren.   Lindsay was able to light up a room with her smile and witty words wherever she went.  She was passionate about training horses and teaching people how to ride horses. She enjoyed all the moments she had with her family, friends, students, and horses.  Lindsay will be truly  missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at New Hope Community Church located at 4520 East Nees Ave. in Clovis, CA on March 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm. The church is providing a tri tip meal free of cost and accepting donations.  Flower donations can be sent to New Hope Church.  Donations in honor of Lindsay can be sent to New Hope Church or The Clovis Rodeo.
