Madeline Arzoumanian
Kasabian
January 1, 1926 – August 20, 2022
Madeline Arzoumanian Kasabian passed away peacefully in her home on August 20 th 2022.
Madeline's life journey started in Michigan but was raised in Los Angeles, CA. She was the second daughter of Alexan and Margaret and her older sister was Margaret.
At 22 she found true love when she met Walter and they spent the next 67 wonder years together. They met at the beach in June of 1948 and a life-long partnership was formed. They married the following November and have shared in both good times and bad.
When most wives at that time were housewives, Madeline established and ran a credit union out of the home for many years. This did not interfere with having a fun. Madeline was a fabulous cook and entertainer and they enjoyed hosting fun parties at home. In between home entertaining, they travelled to all corners of the Earth both near and far. There were cruises and trips that they enjoyed by themselves and with family and friends.
Saying goodbye to Walter in 2016 was the most difficult event in her life. She has missed him every day and looked forward spending eternity with him.
Madeline found an extended family in the Masons and Shriners. She supported Walter when he joined the Masons in 1953 and the Shriners in 1974. Together they worked effortlessly with the Shriners Hospital for Children. They traveled throughout the Central Valley coordinating multiple clinics to identify children in need of medical services.
Madeline will be greatly missed by many friends and family members. She is survived by her niece Sheri Kasabian and many cousins.
A family Graveside Service is scheduled on Thursday Sept 1 at 10 A.M. at Clovis Cemetery (305 N. Villa, Clovis, CA 93612).
Following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Life luncheon reception for all friends and family at the Shriners Center (5407 E. Olive Ave., Fresno, CA 93727).
