Maritsa Melkonyan passed away on February 26, 2022 just two months before her 70 ^th birthday. Maritsa was born on April 29, 1952 in Yerevan, Armenia to the late Karapet and Srbuhi Demirchyans. Maritsa worked in Armenia for many years as a Preschool teacher. She is survived by her beloved husband Tigran Melkonyan. She was the amazing mother of Hovanes Melkonyan and his wife Susana Hovhannisian of Hengelo and Samvel Melkonyan and his wife Anush Dolukhanyan of Fresno. She was the loving grandmother of Monica, Erik, Tigran and Levon. She was the dear sister of Qerob Demirchyan and Gohar Demirchyan. Additionally she is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at Yost & Webb Funeral Home, 1002 T. Str., Fresno, CA 93721 on Friday, March 4, 2022 5pm-7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
