Obituary

MARLENE SAFRAZIAN

Dec 5, 1942 – Nov 17, 2022

Marlene was born in Fresno, California on Dec 5, 1942, to Albert and Sue Tatorian. She loved the Lord, her family & friends. Loving her family and being a great mother was very important to her. She was also very close to her grandmother, mother and sister.

She graduated from Washington Union High School and attended Fresno City College. She worked as a telephone operator. She also worked for Montgomery Wards Department Store. Once she had children, she became a full-time homemaker and loved caring for her family. She was sweet, kind and giving.

She was the best shopping partner and gave great advice. She enjoyed cooking dinners, dining at restaurants, summer vacations to the coast and doing work in her yard. She loved to dance and taught her little sister some dance moves. Marlene was a pep girl in High School. She met the love of her life Alex in 1961 at a dance and were married a year later in 1962 for 60 years. She was blessed with a son Ken and his wife Heidi; daughter Sheri and her husband Courtney.

Marlene was married to the most loving, faithful and dedicated husband. He was the best caregiver in her later years along with the help of their children Ken and Sheri.

Marlene was a strong, resilient lady and kept going because of her faith in Jesus. She also wanted to be with her family for as long as she could. She had a very special bond to her husband and children.

We will cherish the times and memories we had with her. She is in a better place now. She gets to be with Jesus, her parents and loved ones in heaven. We will get to see her again someday. We love you and you will forever be in our hearts.

Survived by husband Alex, Son Ken, Daughter Sheri and their spouses and Marlene's Sister Sandra.
