Myrna May Fiori, age 78, of Fresno, California, passed away on September 29, 2026. She was born on January 10, 1948, in Fresno, California, to Norman and Nora Carlton.

Myrna will be remembered for her loving nature, strength of will, kind heart, and her devotion to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kari, her older brother, Lyal, her younger brother, Jeffrey, many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as friends, including her best friend of 58 years, Grace, and Stella, who is the sister she often said she never had.

Myrna’s daughter wishes to acknowledge and thank Lisa Shearer, as well as Stella Rodriguez, for dedicated in-home care, friendship, and love. 

Myrna graduated from C.L. McLane High School and studied specific subjects at Fresno City College later in life. Myrna was a lifelong cosmetologist, known for her skill in cutting and styling both men’s and women’s hair. Drawing and art, optometry, real-estate, and shorthand were a few of the other interests she pursued.

She couldn’t say no to an abandoned kitten, many who were her decades-long companions. Myrna’s sense of humor, her laughter, and her open arms will be missed greatly by her daughter, family, and friends.
