Patricia Ann (Allen) Jennings

"Patti", was born on March 27, 1957 in Tulare, California to Bob and Dorothy (Shutler) Allen. She joined two much older brothers, Bobby and Jeff and was loved and doted upon. She grew up in Tulare, graduating from Tulare Western High School in 1975.

In 1976, she married Keith Jennings, with whom she had two daughters, Sarah and Melinda. After their divorce, Patti worked hard to provide for and raise her daughters, becoming an administrative medical and dental assistant before working as an insurance claims processor.

She was devoted to her mother, who was her best friend, worshipped her children and loved her pets. Patti was multitalented, playing the piano since childhood. She could also play guitar (left handed), crochet, knit, and tat lace, write calligraphy and shorthand. Patti loved old time rock n roll and the band Rush, but felt The Doors were overrated. She had a great sense of humor and loved the Lord.

In her later years, Patti resided with her daughters in Visalia and Chowchilla, California.

She passed away too soon, at the age of 65 on February 20, 2023 in Fresno, California.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers.

Patti is survived by her daughters, Sarah Smith (Dustin) and Melinda Jennings (Justin Steelman), and grandchildren Addisson Jennings, Amelia and Brody Smith, and Justin Steelman Jr.

A celebration of Patti's life will be held Saturday, April 1st at 3:30 pm, at the Tulare District Cemetery on Kern St.
