Raul Lopez Garcia

May 12, 1973- April 13, 2024

Raul Lopez Garcia was born in Fresno, California on the 12th of May, 1973 and remained in Fresno until he went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the 13th of April, 2024.

Raul is preceded in death by his father, Atanacio "Rudy" Garcia; his mother, Gloria Lopez; and his little brother, Samuel Garcia. Raul is survived by his stepmother, Martha Garcia, who loved him as her own; his brothers, Adan Garcia, Daniel Garcia, Jimmy Garcia and Atanacio "Tany" Garcia; his sisters, Alejandrina Garcia and Louisa Hernandez; and a long list of tios, tias, primos, primas, nephews and nieces.

Raul loved watching Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris movies. He was a hard-core WWE fan. Give Raul KFC and he was happy. His two dogs, Diva and Raiders, were his babies and were with him to the very end.

Raul was born with limitations that didn't allow him to do some of the tasks we take for granted. Yet with all his limitations, his love was limitless, a heart of gentleness of that of a child. You know you were loved if you received a text at midnight from Raul. Raul was simple but sincere in a complex situation. Life was hard on Raul, but day by day with the help of God and others, he managed to move forward. We too will move forward knowing you're under God's care now, holding on to the promise that "God makes all things new". One day we'll see the new you, the you without limitations in that Great Family Reunion. Until then, we'll keep your memory alive in our hearts and minds. Much Love bro. It's a "G" thang.
