Ronald Paul Sr. was born on November 2, 1929 in Fresno, California to Paul and Nellie Paul and was the oldest of two children. Ron was peacefully welcomed into eternal life on January 22, 2015, at the age of 85. Ron was an amazing, accomplished man in every sense of the word. While growing up on the 35 acre family farm, located in southeast Fresno, Ron attended Sanger High School and then Reedley College from 1947 to 1948. While attending Reedley College, Ron studied agriculture and lettered both years playing football. Ron went on to receive a football scholarship at Oregon State but decided to defer his scholarship in favor of staying in Fresno. He then started his farming career by forming Pipco Fruit Company with his father, Paul Paul. Ron was a faithful man and was devoted to his family. He married the love of his life, Angela in 1953 in Fresno, California. They were blessed with three sons, Ronnie Jr., Brian, and Stephen, all who later joined Ron in his farming operation through his retirement in 1995. Ron is survived by his wife of 61 years, Angela; his sons, Ronnie Jr., Brian, Stephen along with his wife Gina and their two sons, John and Spencer Paul, all of Fresno, California. Ron is also survived by his uncle, Armen Arakelian from Lincoln, California. A special thank you to the loving nurses, doctors, and staff members at St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno, California. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Yost & Webb Funeral Home. A Memorial Service for Ron will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Fresno California (1540 M Street, Fresno, CA 93721).
