> On Feb 4th 2025 Scott Moore loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away at the age of 60. Scott was born march 19th 1964 in Walnut Creek CA to James and Gayle Moore. He grew up in Pleasanton CA and graduated from Foothill highschool in 1982 where he ran on the track and field team and played football.

> He joined the air force in 1983 and completed basic training in Lackland AFB. During his military career he was stationed at Mather AFB, Osan AFB in Seoul South Korea and Malmstrom AFB. After leaving the Air Force in 1991, he attended the police academy where he graduated and started his law enforcement career with Selma Police Department in May of 1992. In August of 1999 he left selma PD and joined the Fresno County Sheriffs Department. Throughout his career with FSO he was assigned to variety of units including patrol, search and rescue, MAGEC, vice/intel and internal affairs. In June 2018 he retired from the sheriff's department as a Sergeant. He also worked as an instructor at the local Police Academy from 2006 until his death. He influenced many people throughout his career as a Law enforcement officer, a Deputy, a Sergeant, and an Academy Instructor.

> During his childhood, being a Bay Area kid, he enjoyed attending Oakland A's baseball games and Oakland Raiders football games. He welcomed his daughters Allison in 1989, Kristi in 1992 and Valerie in 1996. He was a proud girl dad, and loved watching each of them excel in various dance, sports and Girl Scout events. He had various hobbies throughout his life including golfing with his dad, poker games, coin collecting, traveling, spending time with his close friends, and taking his dog Ralphie on walks daily. He also enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his two young grandchildren. He also thoroughly enjoyed ice cream and the chocolate pie family recipe.

> Scott is preceded in death by his father James K Moore. He is survived by his children and spouses Allison Freer, husband Brian Freer, Kristi Horner, husband Michael Horner, Valerie Moore , grandchildren Jaxon and Harper Freer, mother Gayle Moore, sister Karin Kirkwood and brother in law Brian Kirkwood and many other extended family.
