Shawn Marie Claypool died on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Clovis Community Hospital. Born on June 9,1961, in Ogden, Utah by Lois and Hans Seldomridge. She moved to California at the age of nine. She attended Clovis High School. In 1979, she graduated with an associate's degree in accounting from 4cs College. She has been a loyal and decorated employee of the Internal Revenue Service for the past 41 years.
She was a dedicated bingo player, regularly attending the Clovis Bingo Hall for over 35 years. She participated in the IRS bowling leagues and used to bowl Friday nights at cedar lanes. She was involved in a bunco league. Her favorite night of the week was her "ladie's night " when she would get together with her close friends for dinner and cards.She enjoyed playing games, cards, puzzles, reading, traveling, and anything that excerscised her mind, and allowed her to use her competitive drive. She also enjoyed singing, listening to music , often getting the lyrics wrong or making up her own. She enjoyed be a grandma and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, her generous heart, unwavering love, amazing work ethic, incredible intellect, and here young at heart soul.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Hans Seldomridge, her brother, Michael Seldomridge, and her mother Lois Seldomridge. She is survived by her children Jillian stoffel, Bryant Willingham, and Andrea Sons, and her grandchildren Saydie Bruce, Halo willingham , luxarei willingham, and Karson young.
