In Loving Memory of Sylvia Leyva Reyes

October 1946 – June 13, 2025

Sylvia Leyva Reyes, 78 of Fresno, CA passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born on October 29, 1946, in Fresno, CA Sylvia was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Blanche Leyva. She grew up in Firebaugh, CA and throughout her life, was known for her dedication to serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her unwavering faith, and love for her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Juan; children, Alex (Maribel), James (Debbie), Erika (Angel); grandchildren, Nique, Alyssa, Joseph, Alexis, Christopher; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Virgina, Michael, and Ron.

Sylvia dedicated her life to caring for her family. Her greatest joy came from being a mother and nana, tending her garden, and leading women's bible studies.

Those who knew her will remember her for faith, perseverance, laughter, and generosity.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th at 1:00 PM at Full Gospel Church. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
