Tony Munoz passed away at his home in Fresno on Monday, August 13, 2007. He was born in Sanger, Ca. on February 22, 1928. Tony served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Warehouseman for Sears in Fresno for 33 years. Tony was married to his devoted wife, Eleanor Lascano- Munoz, for 57 years. The couple had four children Richard, Philip, Marion and Rosalie. The family would like to thank Dr. David Koster and staff, Nancy Hinds Hospice and the American Cancer Society (Angels on Wheels). He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marion Marie Munoz; and his parents, Maurilio and Margarita Munoz. He is survived by his wife Eleanor; children Richard, Philip and Rosalie; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Paula Romero and Mary Gonzales. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, August 16, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, August 17, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sanger District Cemetery. The family requests remembrances be made to the American Cancer Society, Nancy Hinds Hospice or your favorite charity.
